Arijit Singh, Armaan Malik and Kapil Sharma have made India proud by breaking into the top 10 list for their live performances at The SSE Arena, Wembley in the SSE Live Awards 2016.

The annual awards in the United Kingdom are awarded for live performances across SSE venues at Wembley, Belfast and Glasgow.

While Armaan earned the 4th spot, Arijit was ranked number 7 and Kapil Sharma got the 9th position. Overwhelmed by the honour, Armaan said,

“TO BE ABLE TO DO A SOLO INTERNATIONAL TOUR AT THE AGE OF 21 WAS A HUGE DEAL FOR ME. GETTING THE OPPORTUNITY TO PERFORM AT WEMBLEY WAS A BLESSING. IT ALSO PROVED THAT AGE IS NOT A BARRIER. ALL THAT IS NEEDED TO EXCEL IS TALENT AND HARD WORK.”
What’s even a bigger achievement for Arman is that this was his first performance at the reputed venue.

It was the first time that the annual awards were open for public voting and more than 3 million votes were cast for performances across all SSE venues.
