After Nana Patekar, Manoj Bajpai Is Helping His Village By Building Schools And Public Halls

We have all heard of Nana Patekar’s charity work where he has donated lakhs of rupees to farmers in the drought-prone areas. It prevented farmer suicides, even if the help was in a modest way.
Manoj Bajpai is walking in the footsteps of Nana Patekar and is donating money for the development of his village in Bihar.

Because he is a well-known actor, he has connections to the authorities that the normal villagers do not. He has used this influence to get permissions to build a community hall and a school in his village of Belwa in Bihar.

Manoj Bajpai knows the Superintendent of Police in his village and he acts as a communication channel between the villagers and the authorities.
This has made it easier for the villagers to talk about their problems. And because of Manoj Bajpai, their problems are actually heard now.

Manoj Bajpai has been spending a lot of time in Belwa, trying to do as much as he can before he moves back to Mumbai for work.

“I AM TRYING AS MUCH AS I CAN BY SPEAKING TO THE HIGHER AUTHORITIES TO GET PERMISSIONS. I AM HOPING THAT WITH MY EFFORTS THE PROBLEMS OF THE VILLAGE GET ERADICATED COMPLETELY.”
Most of the developmental work in villages is stalled and slow because of a lack of motivation on the part of local politicians and administrators. But when actors take the initiative, they bring their influence with them and drive the local authorities to act.
If every star just used his influence like Manoj Bajpai and Nana Patekar, our development might just get the vital kickstart it desperately needs.
Good job, Manoj!
