New Record: Akshay Kumar’s 4 Consecutive Movies Cross Rs 100 Crore In 13 Months

Akshay Kumar starer ‘Jolly LLB2’ has done exceptionally well at the Box office. The movie hit the cinemas on 10th February 2017. The movie collected a whopping amount at the ticket counters. Thereby, entering the 100 crore club.
However, it’s not his first film to cross the century. Last year was an exceptionally great year for Akshay. ‘Airlift’, ‘Rustom’ and ‘Housefull 3’ entered the 100 crore club. After this great success, all the eyes were on ‘Jolly LLB2’. But the movie managed to stand up to the expectation of the actor.
With the movie scoring the century at the ticket counters, Akshay Kumar has set yet another record. And this time this record is unbreakable. Even the 3 khans who rule the Bollywood can’t break Khiladi’s record. With Jolly LLB 2 crossing the century, he scored 4 centuries in a row.
Akshay Kumar has consecutively 4 movies in a row that have crossed the century and that too only in 13 months. He is the only Bollywood actor to have 4 consecutive 100 crore movie in 13 months.
In January 2016, Airlift was his first-century making moving, which was followed by Housefull3 and Rustom. Now in February 2017, Jolly LLB has become his 4th movie to have crossed the 100 crore club.
Even Shahrukh and Aamir couldn’t set this record
Shahrukh and Aamir are popular for their superhit movies. Aamir Khan is the founder of 100 crores,200 crores and 300 crore club. He has in his kitty the superhit movies like Dangal, PK and Dhoom 3. However, Talaash failed to enter the 100 crore club.
Shahrukh and Salman also have some superhit movies like Raees and Bajrangi Bhaijaan in their kitty. But they hardly have 2 or 3 movies in a year, which is the reason they couldn’t set a record.
Winning formula
The winning formula behind Akshay Kumar’s record is that he tries to do at least 2 movies in a year. Even in 2017, he’s coming with 4 movies. out of them, Jolly LLB has been released. With this consistency, he can even set a new record of 7 movies scoring century in 24 months.
