These habits are so harmful that they affect their health as well as their sperm-producing ability in the future. Here are some of those habits due to which sperms are being destroyed and men are not aware of it.

1. Exposure to high temperature
A human body requires a certain temperature to perform anything. When it comes to producing sperms, the temperature required is less than 4 degrees of the human body. Testicles require a particular temperature to be able to produce. And sometimes, when a man spends more time in high-temperature his sperm-producing ability is affected.

2. Keeping mobile phone in pocket
It is not known to many that radiations from mobile phones can affect a person’s fertility. Yes, this is true. The radiations and vibrations that mobile phones leave can seriously affect a man’s fertility. Keeping mobile phone in the pocket can reduce a man’s ability to produce sperms more than 9%.

Stress and depression go hand-in-hand. They affect a person’s health very badly. When a person is going through depression or stress, his life is badly affected. But these problems affects a person not only mentally but physically too. When a person is going through depression, he harms his sperms as well as fertility.

Smoking is the biggest foe of fertility. Every person who smokes is aware of the fact that it affects their fertilizing ability and erectness. It isn’t surprising that cigarette smoking can damage the blood vessels and Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is often a result of poor arterial blood supply to the penis. However, stopping smoking can improve the natural fertility of a person.

Not many people know that being overweight and obese reduces a man’s fertility. An overweight and obese man have worse quality of sperm as compared to the sperm of a healthy-weighted man. Obesity in males can reduce their fertilizing ability by lowering testosterone levels and increasing the risk of erectile dysfunction.

It isn’t just the female fertility which is affected by excess alcohol consumption. But male fertility is also badly affected by it. According to a famous gynecologist, intake of excess alcohol lowers the testosterone levels. It also affects the quality and quantity of sperm produced. Alcohol can also cause impotence and reduce libido in men.
