“You Think We’d Give Into This Silly Pressure? Sorry, Internet.” Kareena Slams All Trolls.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is a lively person. She puts across her thoughts clearly without any hesitation. She will believe in her decisions and stand by them. Her on-screen presence is bubbly and she does justice to all her characters. Recently, she gave birth to a gorgeous baby boy but she is already back on the field. Her social media presence is zero and she does not regret a bit!

In a recent interview, this beautiful diva was as honest as ever. On being asked how she feels about her absence from social media, she has the sassiest answer ready.

“WOULDN’T IT BE TOO SATURATING IF I POPPED UP ON YOUR FEED EVER SO OFTEN?”

Kareena Kapoor feels that is important for an actor to keep that mystery alive. To not reveal everything at once because then it takes away everything from life’s little moments.

“I AM AN OLD-WORLD STAR. I BELIEVE IN KEEPING THE MYSTERY OF AN ARTIST ALIVE.  I WANT PEOPLE TO REMAIN INTERESTED IN ME BY CURIOUSLY THINKING ABOUT WHAT MY LIFE ACTUALLY ENTAILS.”

She was asked if she has never felt the need to voice her opinion like other celebs on Twitter, to which she commented that more than voicing opinion Twitter has become a mutual admiration club. She also added…

“IF I WANT TO WISH SOMEONE, I’LL PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL THEM AND HAVE A LONGER CONVERSATION THAN 140-CHARACTERS.”

Now, coming to the Taimur debacle, Kareena was genuinely surprised at people’s reaction on her little boy’s name and also commented on how the whole Internet turned into the ‘guardians of history’! She slammed all trolls and said…

Dear troll, you were wrong, as you so often are. His name is Taimur, which means Iron and I can assure you that he’ll live up to the meaning of his name. You confused him with Timur.
In any case, we took it with a pinch of salt and both of us were least affected by it. We’re very proud of his name and there’s absolutely no question of changing it. There never was.
You really think we would give into this kind of silly pressure? Sorry, internet.
Such valid points. In these times of half knowledge and the addiction to social media, this beautiful diva is away from all the pseudo affection and the negativity too!
