It's been a tough few months for the Kardashian clan. Following Kim's Paris robbery in 2016, the last thing she needed to hear during her recovery was that her husband Kanye West had been hospitalised.
Sunday night's (9 April) episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians showed the 36-year-old reality TV star breaking down in tears over her rapper husband.

Kardashian had just arrived in New York for an event to honour her late father Robert Kardashian, and received a phone call from one of West's friends as she sat in the hotel with older sister Kourtney and mother Kris Jenner.
Already in a fragile state and still avoiding any type of press attention, Kardashian appeared shocked and distressed upon learning about West's state of health.
During the clip she was heard saying to her husband's friend: "Why? What's going on? What's wrong? Don't scare me, please. What's going on?"
Sobbing into the phone as her mother and sister worriedly looked on, she added: "I can't" as the episode dramatically ended on a "to be continued" message.
The episode got onto a positive start with Kardashian stepping out in public for the first time since the robbery during Paris Fashion Week in October last year. She was attending one of West's concerts at The Forum in Los Angeles.

Something's up with Kanye, and only  has the real story. Tune in next SUNDAY for the deets.

Before heading to the gig, she told her mother: "I don't have any energy to put on clothes or make up." She later greeted family and friends including Katy Perry whilst casually dressed and bare-faced.
She admitted that wanted to "disappear" from the spotlight after the robbery as she opened up about her own mental health, stating: "I just want to disappear for a little bit. I have to do what makes me feel comfortable."
As we know now, West was hospitalised on 21 November last year, just a few weeks after the concert. He spent nine days at the UCLA Medical Center, and sources claimed it was due to exhaustion and sleep deprivation.

Kardashian previously claimed she was keen to talk about the robbery because it was one of her "most life-changing experiences."
Prior to last week's episode airing, she wrote on Instagram: She wrote: "Tonight's episode is going to be very tough for me. However, I thought it was important to share this story through my eyes & not in an interview where my own words could be twisted. I have always shared so much & I'm not going to hold back when this was probably one of the most life-changing experiences for me.
"I would never wish this experience upon anyone, but have learned some valuable lessons & feel so blessed to be safe home with my babies & husband. To my friends, family, and loved ones I can't thank you enough for being there when I needed you the most. To the French police, thank you for your incredible hard work. (sic)"
